The picture looks like a missile. If they said it came from the ocean, maybe it was a test of a underwater launched missile.

The mystery deepens...A Canadian Politician has gone so far to dismiss the event in a joke in opening statements. I am not saying this was a true extra-terrestrial vehicle, but it does deserve an explanation.
